We are Manly - Hibiscus Coast dentists. Welcome to our dental practice!

Dr Christian Blaschke

Lead Dentist

Dr Blaschke is the Lead dentist at our Manly practice and believes good oral health is a key influence in the overall health and function of the entire body. He is continuously researching the latest developments and plans to gain his Masters in dental implants from the University of California by 2012.

He studied dentistry at the University of Giessen Germany, obtaining a postgraduate degree in Prosthodontics. He also worked as a partner in a surgery focusing on metal-free dental care, endodontics and implantology.

In 2000 he immigrated to New Zealand and founded Manly Dental Care and in 2008 joined the Lumino team. The practice quickly became renowned for its innovative, metal-free dentistry and implantology. Dr Blaschke was the first person in Australasia to offer his patients metal-free ceramic dental implants.

In his leisure time Christian enjoys technical diving, motorbike cruising and classic car restorations.

Sheryl Alexander

Receptionist

Sheryl is the friendly face that greets you when you visit Lumino The Dentists Manly. She has been with the Manly branch since 2009 and enjoys being part of the Lumino team. Being at the front of house Sheryl enjoys meeting, greeting and dealing with patients, which helps
to create a positive experience for clients visiting the dentist.

Being a grandparent, in her spare time Sheryl spends time looking after her grandchildren
and loves to cook.

Soon Nam

Dental Assistant

Soon Nam is a NZDA qualified dental assistant. Her main role involves assisting Lead Dentist Christian with dental surgery and implants. Soon has been part of the Lumino team since 2008 and has become a valuable member of the Manly practice.

She immigrated to New Zealand from Korea in 1997 and has never looked back. She enjoys the relaxed lifestyle New Zealand offers and likes to cook when she can.
