Our Team

Dr Aditi Patel, Lead Dentist

Dr. Aditi Patel brings over 15 years of clinical experience to the team. She attained a postgraduate diploma in clinical Dentistry from Otago University in 2002. Aditi has been an external examiner for both postgraduate & undergraduate students at the school of Dentistry at the University of Otago.

Aditi always strives to achieve clinical excellence in her
work & keeps abreast of the clinical & technical advancements in dentistry by attending continuing educational programmes. She has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry & a keen eye for detail. Aditi is extremely passionate about her work & this is reflected in the treatment & care she provides to her patients.

Dr Betty Matthews, Lead Dentist

Dr Betty Matthews graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. After working for a few years in sunny Nelson, she then made her move up to Auckland
| in 2005. Since joining Lumino The Dentist Ellerslie, Betty has developed an excellent rapport with her patients and
has become an integral part of the team. She offers late
night appointments on Thursdays for the convenience of some of her patients.

Betty enjoys the variety of general dentistry and always endeavors to achieve the highest quality in her work. She strongly believes in continuing education to keep updated with the latest technology and research and regularly attends courses to this effect. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, Auckland Dental Association and New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.

Rebecca Woledge, Hygienist

Rebecca Woledge, a 2008 graduate of Auckland University
of Technology’s Bachelor of Health Science- Oral Health degree. As a graduate of this degree Rebecca is able to practise all scopes of dental therapy and dental hygiene practice. Rebecca is able to independently prescribe and administer oral health care to patients up to 18 years old,
and provide periodontal care for adult patients, in
consultation with a dentist.

During Rebecca’s study at AUT her learning included pre-clinical experiences in a laboratory setting, and clinical experience in an on-campus clinic, and in community dental clinics and private practices, along with a placement in the New Zealand Defence dental in Wellington.

Currently Rebecca is working three days a week managing the hygiene program for the practice. Rebecca’s passion for her field and working with patients drives her to achieve a high standard of care with an eye for detail, and a focus to achieve excellence for every one of her patients, with the objective that they can achieve their oral health aspirations.
