Our Team

Dr Zoran Kostic, Lead Dentist

Dr Zoran Kostic graduated in 1984 with a DDS degree in Yugoslavia and went straight into practicing general dentistry until 1990 when he became a specialist in maxillofacial surgery. As well as being head of maxillofacial surgery for the hospital he was also assistant professor in faculty of dentistry in Pristina, Yugoslavia which included supervising and mentoring post graduate students.

In 1999 Zoran immigrated to New Zealand and joined the Henderson practice in 2001 where he is Lead dentist. He has special dental interests in cosmetic dentistry, crowns on site using CAD-CAM technology E4D and previous Cerec, implants and oral surgery.

Sharon Boutell, Hygienist

Sharon Qualified from St Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospital, UK as dental Hygienist and dental Therapist in
1998. She is a very experienced dental hygienist and brings with her proven clinical and educational abilities in both adult and paediatric dentistry.

Since qualifying 13 years ago she has worked in all aspects
of dentistry from paediatric and periodontal private practice, Oral surgery department working with high risk and oral
cancer patients and with the British Armed forces. Sharon is also a hygienist in Lumino The Dentist Takapuna and Red Beach.

 

Karen Williams, Clinical Technician

Karen is a highly experienced Clinical Technician with over
35 years experience including 4 years working in Germany. She has been a part of the Lumino The Dentist New Lynn practice since it opened over 20 years ago and also the Henderson team since it opened over 12 years ago.

Karen provides a complete denture service including full dentures, plastic partials , metal partials and immediate dentures. Her close working relationship with the dentists ensures that the patient has a continuity of care under one roof.
