Our team

Craig Dotchin, Lead Dentist

 

Craig graduated from the University of Otago in 1999. Since then he has worked continuously in private practice, also spending two years in the New Zealand Public Hospital sector. Before joining DentalOne in
2004, Craig spent three years practising in the UK.

As well as being experienced and confident in all areas of cosmetic and general dentistry, Craig has a special interest in the provision of replacement teeth with the
use of titanium implants. Through further training and courses in both New Zealand and Europe, Craig is able to provide comprehensive care
in this field.

Craig endeavours to provide patients with the highest-quality dentistry using the latest techniques in both treatment and prevention of dental disease, and is committed to constant improvement through regular professional courses.

James Hannah, Dentist

 

James graduated in 1981 from the University of Otago School of Dentistry. After two years hospital experience, he headed off to work in London and, from there, moved on to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. After returning to New Zealand in 1991, James began to grow his own successful practice at St Michael’s Clinic in Remuera, Auckland. Seeing the benefits of group practice, James joined the DentalOne team in 2003, bringing with him his wealth of experience in general dental practice.

In addition to general dentistry, James plays an active part in New Zealand’s forensic dental community and
has also been devoted to the provision of dentistry to
New Zealand’s armed forces.

Clare Dunne, Dentist

 

Clare is a recent addition to the DentalOne team, moving to New Zealand in 2005 with her Kiwi husband and two young children. A graduate of the University College Cork in Ireland in 1994, she has worked in private practice in the UK for the last 10 years.

Clare is committed to providing high-quality dentistry in a gentle and professional manner, and is particularly sympathetic to the more anxious patients. A regular attendee at postgraduate seminars both here and overseas, she aims to deliver up-to-the-minute dentistry in a friendly, relaxed and stress-free manner.

David White, Dentist

 

David graduated from dental surgery studies at the University of Otago and during that period he
represented New Zealand universities as a racing skier. After a year in the Cook Islands and three years in London practising dentistry, he returned to Nelson and then moved on to Panmure and then Queen St in Auckland. He has always been a keen learner, keeping up to date with the latest techniques, technologies and safe practice.

After selling his successful Queen St practice, David joined DentalOne eight years ago and now works part-time. David has a wide experience of general practice dentistry that compliments this dental team. His other interests include golf, fishing, home renovations, computers and his family.
