Our Team

Dr Shayne Richardson, Lead Dentist

Shayne Richardson is a New Zealand graduate, having trained at Otago University School of Dentistry
and graduated in 1981.
Shayne has always worked in New Zealand, owning a practice in New Plymouth for 22 years and then moving
to Christchurch in 2003 and working at Lumino The Dentists, Lincoln ever since. His main specialities are cosmetic dentistry, where he does Cerec restorations
which make a porcelain crown, veneer or inlay in one appointment. Additional to the general dentistry Shayne does, he is now placing & restoring his own Implants and is intending to complete the post graduate implant
studies in Edinburgh next year.

Karen Richardson, Practice Manager

Karen Richardson is a Registered Nurse and has a Masters Degree in Health Studies. Karen is the Practice Manager and often facilitates with any medical specialists or doctors regarding interfacing medical treatment with dentistry.

Where patients need further explanations regarding
treatment, Karen can go over the treatment in further
detail and is happy to discuss any aspects of their care.
