Our Team

 

Dr Robert Wagstaff, Lead Dentist

Robert is a highly experienced and knowledgeable dentist who has been practicing dentistry since graduating Otago University Dental School in 1969. His Dental House practice has been a part of Lumino since September 2011.

Robert enjoys being able to assist with patients’ needs – the more challenging, the better.

Robert likes to spend his spare time on family, surfing, building, tennis, music and cooking.

 

Dr Andrew Wong, Dentist

Andy initially completed a BSc. from Auckland University in 2006 and then went on to study dentistry with the University of Otago, graduating with his BDS in 2010.He has been with the practice since it became part of Lumino in September 2011.

Andy enjoys applying his dental knowledge to medical situations and his other dental interests include maxillofacial & oral surgery. He is currently working towards sitting his primary exams with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) this year.

When he manages to find some spare time Andy likes to
watch movies & go to the gym.

 

Dr Doreen Ng, Dentist

Doreen has been with Lumino since early 2012. She joined the practice after graduating from the University of Otago in 2011. Doreen is planning to continue furthering her education by sitting the RACDS primary exams later this year.

Doreen enjoys the one-on-one interaction she has with her patients and likes to help make them feel at ease in the dental chair. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but particularly endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Out of the practice Doreen loves travelling, Pilates, going to the gym & catching up with friends.

 

Belinda Martin, Dental Therapist

Belinda completed her diploma in Dental Therapy in Wellington in 1984. She has been with the Lumino Dental House team for the last 11 months.

Belinda loves her job working with children and she also enjoys the working environment in the practice, including the staff morning teas – these dentists are great cooks too!

When she isn’t in the practice Belinda enjoys walking, cooking, craft & weekends away.

 

Diane Jones, Practice Manager

Diane has been with Dental House for the last 2 years, spending 3 ½ years at a Lumino practice in Wellington prior to that.

Even after twenty odd years working in the dental industry Diane still has a real passion for dealing with patients and helping them to overcome their fears. She also appreciates the wonderful team that support her fully in all her work.

In her spare time Diane keeps herself extremely busy with golf, gardens, she’s always redecorating, loves cooking, and spending as much time as possible with her beautiful grandchildren.
