Our Team
Dr Andrew Brown, Lead Dentist
Dr Andrew Brown is an experienced and well regarded dentist
in the Wellington area. He graduated from the University of
Otago School of Dentistry in 1988 and joined Lumino in 2007.
Andrew enjoys the daily opportunities of applying highly technical science to resolve everyday physical problems. He has an interest in dental implants, children’s dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Andrew regularly attends implant and cosmetic conferences in Wellington and nationwide.

Dr John Burton, Lead Dentist
Dr John Burton is a highly regarded dentist in the Wellington area and is highly qualified and trained in general and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from Otago in 1977 and is currently furthering his studies with a Diploma of Dental Implantology.
John tries to keep his approach light-hearted so his patients have some fun and feel at ease. He has a special interest in
gum health, dental implants, restoring very worn mouths and Invisalign (invisible braces).

Michele Greene, Practice Manager
Michele joined the Burton and Brown practice in 1995 before
they became part of the Lumino team. She has many years experience with working with all types of patients and works
hard to ensure they have a pleasant experience when visiting
the dentist.
Michele manages the front of house staff, general running of
the practice and is always happy to answer questions or talk patients through any dental treatment.
Dr Eileen Lilley, Dentist
Dr Eileen Lilley is a highly experienced dentist who graduated from Dundee, Scotland in 1988. Eileen joined the Lumino team
in 2007 where she continues to enjoy providing challenging
dental treatments but keeping things light-hearted to ease her patients concerns.
Eileen has dental interests in orthodontics, general dentistry
and temporomandibular joint disorder. She is currently
furthering her studies in orthodontics and temporomandibular
joint disorder.
Dr Sophia Ling, Dentist
Sophia graduated from the University of Otago (BDS)in 2007
and is the most recent addition to the Burton and Brown team. She enjoys building a good rapport with her patients and contributing to their health and wellbeing.
Sophia has joined the team to pursue her interest in
preventative dentistry, minimal intervention and cosmetic dentistry. She plans to attend more courses on implants and aesthetic dental procedures, in particular all ceramic restorations.
Monica Mallinson, Hygienist
Monica Mallinson has been with the Burton and Brown practice since 1999. Monica graduated in 1979 at the University of
Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. She enjoys establishing a
positive relationship with her patients, that results in satisfying progress in their oral health.
Monica is interested in new dental technology relating to periodontal health and the cosmetic dentistry done by John and Andrew which has amazing results. She regularly attends
dental conferences, seminars and talks, and reads the latest publications, to stay up to date with the latest technological
developments in the dental hygiene industry.
