Dr Cathrine Lloyd, Lead Dentist

Cathrine Lloyd dentist in wellington lumino the dentists courtenay placeDr Cathrine Lloyd is Lead Dentist at Lumino The Dentists Courtenay Place in Wellington. She graduated from the University of London and went on to practise general
dentistry in the United Kingdom before moving to Wellington.

Cathrine has served terms on a number of New Zealand
Dental Association committees over many years, in addition
to serving as an NZDA board member. In recognition of her
long-standing service and work, Cathrine was awarded Fellow
of the NZDA in 2010.

 

Dr James Fairhall, Lead Dentist

James Fairhall dentist in wellington lumino the dentists courtenay placeJames has been working in Wellington since 2002 and prides himself on providing the most thorough and comprehensive of examinations. He has a passion for restoring peoples' teeth back to a condition where they feel happy to smile again. He has a strong belief that dentistry is not just about treating
teeth but in fact the whole person. Healthy, happy teeth lead
to healthy, happy people.

Crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, veneers, implants, white fillings and extractions are just a few of the many procedures James offers to his patients, and all with a gentle touch and
with the utmost care for the patients' wellbeing. James enjoys his dentistry and looks forward to meeting new patients and
helping them to reach their dental goals.

Amanda Fox, Practice Manager

Amanda Fox Lumino The Dentists Courtenay PlaceAmanda has been part of Lumino The Dentists Courtenay
Place since 2008 and before that she was a dental assistant. She leads the front of house and is responsible for ensuring that all patients have a great experience, from when they
make their appointment, to the completion of their dental treatment. Amanda enjoys the interaction that she has with
all their patients and seeing them leave the practice satisfied with big smiles on their faces.

Amanda also enjoys being part of the big Courtenay Place team and the working relationship that she has with her team.
Outside of the practice Amanda is a fitness fanatic who takes part in a variety of sports including snowboarding and cycling.


Dr Andrea Falkner, Dentist

Andrea Falkner dentist in wellington lumino the dentists courtenay placeDr Andrea Falkner is an experienced dentist who graduated from The University of Otago School of Dentistry in 1995.
Since then she has worked in private practices and hospital dentistry both here in New Zealand and Australia. She
returned to Wellington in 2001 and has been part of the Courtenay Place practice for almost ten years.

Andrea has an interest in preventative dentistry and likes focusing on the whole person rather than just the mouth. She aims to make the patient's dental experience a relaxed and pleasant one while providing a high standard of general dentistry. Andrea enjoys spending her leisure time with her
family and in the garden.


Dr Michael Neuman, Dentist

Michael Neuman dentist in wellington lumino the dentist courtenay placeMichael is a skilled dentist who graduated from Wits University in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1988. Michael joined the Lumino team in 2008 and enjoys working in a great practice
with great support. His time with Lumino The Dentists in Courtenay Place is a career highlight for Michael where he enjoys putting the smiles back on peoples' faces.

Michael has a special interest in general dentistry and is
always eager to learn more so he can provide an even better service to his patients. In his free time Michael likes to make
the most of what Wellington has to offer by spending as much time as he can outdoors playing golf, kayaking or cycling.


Rachel Smith, Dental Hygienist

Rachel Smith dental hygienist in wellington lumino the dentist courtenay placeRachel has been with the Courtenay Place practice since graduating in Otago in 1997. She is a "people person", passionate in her role as a Dental Hygienist with a strong philosophy in education and individually tailor making
treatment programmes to help people take control of their oral health.

Rachel's interests include the outdoors, travelling and the spanish language. She has undertaken work in volunteer dentistry in Ecuador, South America with underprivileged children and she is always looking to broaden her skills and
life experience. Currently in her spare time she studies Naturopathy.


Sharon Fisk, Dental Hygienist

Sharon Fisk dental hygienist in Wellington Lumino The Dentists courtenay placeSharon is an experienced hygienist who graduated from Guys Hospital London in 1991. She worked in a general dental practice for two years in London before returning to New
Zealand to work with a Periodontist in Wellington where she stayed for 17 years. In 2008, Sharon joined the Lumino team in Courtenay Place so she could get to the front line of dentistry.

Sharon enjoys the interaction she has with her patients and educating them in good oral health practice. She has a special interest in treating Periodontal disease with all the challenges that entails. Sharon is also a keen amateur oil painter and
loves food and cooking.
