Our Team

Dr Alison Au, Dentist

Dr Alison Au graduated from The University of Otago in
2005 and has since worked in hospital, community and private dental practice. Alison has been with the Lumino
team since 2009 and enjoys providing excellent dental treatment using the latest technology and techniques giving hope to those patients who have lost all confidence due to
an unhealthy mouth.

Alison believes that dental care does not have to be a scary experience and that at Lumino the Terrace they do their
best to put any anxious patients at ease. Alison has a special interest in preventative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry Invisalign (invisible braces) and restoring the worn dentition. She regularly attends lectures and courses to keep her dental
skills and knowledge up to date.

Dr Lydia Meredith, Dentist

Dr Lydia Meredith graduated from The University of Otago in 2008 and joined the Lumino team early in 2012. Lydia offers a wide range of services including Cerec, cosmetic and implant dentistry, ZOOM whitening, Invisalign (invisible braces) and even Botulinum toxin injections (Dysport) for the face to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

She also offers intravenous (IV) sedation for patients who are nervous or are having long appointments that they wish to make more enjoyable. Lydia is continuously attending lectures and courses on the latest developments in all aspects of dentistry. She prides herself on practicing dentistry to a very high standard.

Dr Tiffany Logan, Dentist

Tiffany graduated from The University of Otago in 1987 with a BDS and in 1996 went on to complete her Perio, DipClin Dent. She started working at Lumino late last year and is really enjoying working with rest of the team at The Terrace.

Tiffany's main interest is in Periodontal (gum) Disease and she is a member of the NZDA Branch Committee which helps to keep her up to date with dentistry in New Zealand.

In her spare time Tiffany enjoys skiing, surf lifesaving and spending time at the beach. She is a mother of 5 teenagers which definitely keeps her family life busy!

 

Marinette Alamani, Hygienist

Marinette Alamani is a very experienced and well sought
after dental hygienist. Marinette graduated in 1987 as a
Doctor of Dental Medicine in Manila, Philippines and was
part of the Karen Harris Dental team before they joined Lumino. She enjoys building a relationship with patients
which is vital to educating them and gaining their trust.

Her dental interest is to inform patients of good oral health care and running a more effective and efficient hygiene department. Marinette also keeps her skills up to date by continuously attending education programmes, seminars
and conferences.

 

Anne Carter, Practice Manager

Anne has been working for Lumino The Dentists The Terrace since May 2011; having worked dental management
previously with Burton and Brown in Wellington. She loves interacting with patients and enjoys building relationships with everyone that visits the practice. Anne also appreciates working with a bunch of talented colleagues who make it easy to come into work
every morning.

In her spare time Anne loves to go running and cycling and spending quality time with her children.
