Dr Robert Max and Dr Mark Beresford head the team at Max + Beresford. They are orthodontists – specialist dentists who have completed a further three years post-graduate university qualification in orthodontics. They practise only orthodontics and have the required training to properly assess and treat all orthodontic problems. Max + Beresford are highly experienced and have particular expertise in facial biology and systems of moving teeth to improve function and appearance. You would not want anything less for your child or yourself.
While many patients are referred by their dentist, you are also welcome to call Max + Beresford directly for an initial consultation. Max + Beresford take a team approach to professional orthodontic treatment. This leads to significant progress at each appointment and ensures a higher standard of treatment.
Max + Beresford use advanced digital technology, including cone-beam (3D) imaging, to assess treatment needs and monitor treatment progress. Patients’ faces and teeth are photographed before, during and after treatment. Digital imaging is an excellent tool that allows Max + Beresford patients to understand every step of the treatment.
Max + Beresford use only the most advanced braces. These include Damon self-ligating braces and the newly released Damon Clear braces. Other options include invisible or nearly invisible braces, such as lingual braces and, where appropriate, Invisalign appliances are also available.
