“I really enjoy dentistry because it’s a mixture of everything - art, science and human relationships. I do a lot of full-mouth rehabilitation, but I also work with quite a few older patients who find it hard to afford some of the new technology. I try to find affordable solutions for them that don’t compromise quality.

“I’m also doing a steady amount of Invisalign work, which can achieve some teeth-straightening movements better than traditional methods. Invisalign is particularly good for people 40 and over, who want straighter teeth without having to wear visible braces.”

Lumino The Dentists partner with the Ngāti Pahauwera Development Trust in Wairoa, to provide dental services to those in need. Jots has joined the group of volunteers for the past two years. Read all about the initiative here.
