Smile Studio Orewa dentist, Ginal Bilimoria, received an international award last month in Germany.
Dr Ginal was one of 24 prizewinners that took home a Smart Integration Award.
The awards ceremony was held on November 21 in Heidelberg and was run for the first time by Dentsply Sirona.
Dentsply Sirona honors visionary treatment concepts from female dentists all over the world.
The Smart Integration Award highlighted innovative ideas, successful concepts and visions revolving around the concept of networked treatment centres.
