Dr Sonia Sarangal, completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2013 from India and Passed her Australian Dental Council Licensing Examinations in 2022.

She is an expert dentist with a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, restoration, Extraction, teeth whitening, Crowns, Dental bridges, and Dentures.

She is passionate about dentistry and strongly believes in connecting with patients and giving the most compassionate care possible to help support their safety and well-being.

Her approach is to make accurate diagnoses and then discuss treatment plans step by step to provide the best possible care. 

She is quite determined to encourage and support patients in their oral hygiene.

Outside of work, Sonia likes to do yoga, meditation, read books, travel to different countries, and spend time with family and nature.

Rupa graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bombay, India and passed New Zealand Dentist Registration Examination in 2008.

Rupa has extensive experience in General Dentistry and worked in a variety of roles in public hospitals and private practices. Rupa has a special interest in root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

With a focus on patient education and preventative care, Rupa strives to help each of her patients achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful, confident smile. She enjoys building long-term relationships and trust with her patients.

Rupa takes pride in making a positive difference in patient's lives by helping them to improve their oral health. She enjoys the challenge of staying up to date with the latest advancements and techniques.

Outside dentistry, Rupa enjoys reading books, yoga and cooking a variety of dishes and enjoying them with family and friends.

Rupa is a regular participant of Round the Bays, Auckland for the last many years.

Sa’ane graduated from the University of Otago in 2021.

Her dental interests include restorative dentistry, prosthodontics and exodontia.

The goals Sa'ane wants to accomplish in her work are to continue to strive for holistic treatment care where she not only focuses on just the teeth but the body and lifestyle as a whole.

Sa'ane Ioves that her job gives her the opportunity to meet new people and to work with them, equipping 
them on how they can improve their oral health.

Outside of the practice, Sa'ane enjoys spending time with her siblings. They often bake together, hang out at the park or go for walks up Mangere Mountain. She also enjoys playing sports such as touch rugby 
and volleyball. On weekends, Sa'ane devotes her time to her church youth group where they have bible studies, fellowship, and singing practice.

An interesting fact about Sa'ane is that after High school, she had the opportunity to represent New Zealand in a sevens tournament in Australia but decided to pursue her education.

Amandeep works over two Lumino practices in East Auckland and has a long standing loyal patient base. Amandeep graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health in 2021 (Overseas Graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2011).

Amandeep has a special interest in cosmetics dentistry and teeth whitening treatments.

Amandeep is strongly committed to delivering oral health care to a high standard with compassion. She aims to provide a pleasant and positive experience for every individual through an emphatic approach.

She continues her professional development and stays updated by regularly attending courses and is a member of the NZ Dental & Oral Health Therapists Association.

When she is not at work, she also loves spending time with her family and enjoys hiking and outdoor adventures.

Born and raised in Auckland, Tanvi graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health in 2016. She started her career in the public sector by joining the Auckland Regional Dental Service.

Tanvi is strongly committed to delivering oral health care to a high standard with compassion. She enjoys working with patients to improve their oral and general health by providing individual-based hygiene regimes. She aims to provide a pleasant and positive experience for every individual through an emphatic approach.

She continues her professional development and stays updated by regularly attending courses and is a member of the NZ Dental & Oral Health Therapists Association.

Outside of work, Tanvi enjoys travelling, volunteering for organisations, spending time with friends and family and trying Auckland’s new eateries.

Philomena, or more commonly known as Mena, was born in Ireland and has over 20 years experience within the dental industry in New Zealand. It was her dream from leaving school to be in dentistry.

She loves helping the local community feel comfortable and cared for whenever they come to see the dentist. The caring and professional demeanour of Lumino suits her style of creating and fostering relationships with patients. She says she loves the people she gets to interact with the most about her job, and likes making them feel special and valued. Mena also likes knowing that she can make a difference with her enthusiasm and drive to always offer the best service.

When she’s not in practice, Mena likes helping out within the local community, walking her dog, doing yoga and really just living a healthy lifestyle. An interesting fact about her is that she actually loves playing soccer – in fact, she coaches her 8-year-old son’s soccer team! She is also a guest speaker for the Salvation Army’s bridging programme.
