Dr Ben Harris

Ben graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997. He spent two years working in Dunedin and then Christchurch hospital after graduation before heading to work in London. After nine years away from Christchurch practicing dentistry in London and Auckland, Ben returned home to Christchurch in 2007, having just completed his Fellowship in Sydney, Australia.

Ben has been on the Lumino clinical board since 2011 and is an active member of the NZ Dental Association and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Ben has always strived to achieve excellence in his work and stay at the forefront of technical advancements in dentistry. He performs general and cosmetic dentistry using the latest equipment, materials and methods including digital scanning and digital smile design. He is driven to give his patients the best care and experience possible. He regularly attends lectures and courses from minimal intervention to advanced procedures such as root canal therapy and Implant restoration.

Ben has an interest in reconstructing worn mouths and the prevention of dental disease. He enjoys developing and implementing a long term plan which future proofs someone’s mouth, with the goal of leaving the patient in a maintenance program with peace of mind that their teeth are disease-free and optimally restored.

Ben grew up on a farm in North Canterbury and brings exceptional skills, experience and clear no-fuss communication to the team. Outside of dentistry Ben has a passion for health and fitness and can either be found at the gym, spending time with his young family or thinking about going back to the gym.

Brigitte practices a full range of general dentistry with special interests in Invisalign  and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders. Brigitte is a certified Platinum Elite provider for Invisalign® New Zealand with a focus on adults over the age of 16 who may need a combination of orthodontic treatment with general or cosmetic dentistry. Committed to further education, she completed 80 hours of continued professional development in 2021 and is in the final year of the membership programme to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Brigitte graduated from Otago University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Dr Kate Arlidge

Kate graduated from Otago with a BDS in 2010. She is an experienced dentist having worked in private, public and emergency dentistry in both Australia and New Zealand.

She has a particular interest in endodontics (root canals) as well as general dentistry and full oral health well being for her patients.

In her spare time she likes to run and fuels her creative side with an interest in art especially painting.

Kate is in the Christchurch City practice on Wednesdays from 1pm to 8pm, and Saturdays from 8.30am to 5pm.

Dr Lesley McCafferty

Lesley graduated in 2000 from the University of Glasgow, UK with a BDS and BSc Hons. She has gained an MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons, London in 2009, MSc Dental Implants in 2016 and has been trained in cosmetic injectables.

She is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry including dental implants, anti-wrinkle injections with Botulinum Toxin A and dermal fillers.

Dr Jason Bradshaw

Dr Jason Bradshaw graduated from Otago University with a BDS in 2011. He performs all manner of dental treatments and places particular emphasis on communication with his patients. 

After graduating, Jason spent the next few years in private practice in his hometown of Blenheim before spending some time overseas in the United Kingdom.

He has recently moved back to New Zealand, choosing Christchurch as his home, after two years in London.

Dr Phebe Chua

Phebe graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2019. Hailing from sunny Malaysia, Phebe has a disposition that takes after the warm weather of her homeland. Well known for her gentle and empathetic approach, she has a pleasant chair-side manner and enjoys relating with patients, young and old. She takes pride in delivering quality patient-centered dental care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. 

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay. In her downtime, she relaxes by going for a run and playing the 'cello. She also serves in her local church and finds great joy in spending time with people she loves.

Felicity Pask

Felicity graduated from the university of Otago as a Dental Hygienist in 2005.

Her role as a hygienist is to help patients maintain and treat existing gum disease and keep great dental health by preventing and encouraging them on what will work best for their oral health.

Felicity enjoys going fishing as well as gardening, reading and shopping.

Having discovered how much of an impact oral health had on an individual's overall health, she decided to study Oral Health Therapy.

Her goal is to help and motivate others to keep on top of their oral hygiene care and to build good oral health habits.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, watching movies, and watercolour painting.

What Paige loves most about her role is that she gets to meet new people everyday and she gets to build relationships with patients.

Paige’s favourite thing to do outside of the practice is hanging out with her friends and family, pilates and exploring new parts of Christchurch.

Her favourite place to be in is Central Otago with her family.

Something that might surprise you about Paige is that she took a gap year and worked at a summer camp in America, when she came back to NZ, she got a temporary job as a dental assistant and that’s where she fell in love with this career.
