Dr Jonathan Beere graduated with a BDS from the University of Otago in 1983. He is most interested in Cosmetic and Advanced Restorative treatments.
Jon always makes sure his patients are satisfied with the treatments he provides. And when his patients are happy, he is happy too! He takes pride in the quality of work he does to ensure successful outcomes.
In his work, he not only loves the technical challenges that come as part of his job but loves meeting the many different people as well.
When not in his dental chair, Jon loves cycling and being in Kuratau, a small village by Lake Taupo.
Dr Rachel Loomans graduated from the University of Otago in 2009 with a BDS (distinction). Her dental interests include restorative dentistry, minor oral surgery, as well as general education and prevention. To keep abreast in the industry, Rachel undertakes ongoing education in courses that interest her every year.
She loves interacting with the people she meets in practice and loves the practical nature of her job. She wants to ensure she builds a relationship with her patients and makes them feel comfortable on the chair.
Outside work, Rachel likes spending time with her family, being at the family farm in Waikato or on a beach in the Coromandel.
Dr Cara earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2009. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. To keep things interesting, she likes dealing with a little bit of everything else as well.
Cara loves meeting new people in her work as a dental professional. She likes the many different challenges each day at work presents and loves the feeling of satisfaction when she gets a great outcome.
Her favourite things to do when not in practice is walking her dog, cooking dinner for friends and family and just staying out in the sunshine.
Dr Michelle Foo graduated from the University of Otago in 2015 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction.
Michelle says she enjoys all aspects of dentistry – including general, restorative, prosthetic, crowns and bridges as well as cosmetic dental procedures. In her work, she hopes to always provide quality care with attention to detail as well as providing a gentle and comfortable service to her patients while addressing dental problems effectively and painlessly.
She loves helping her community and the hands-on nature of her work as well as the continuous learning that her work enables.
Outside of the practice, Michelle’s happy place is her kitchen! She loves to bake and cook. She is also a very skilled linguist – speaking five different languages.
Claire started off her career in the dental field working as a dental nurse in Ireland, before continuing training in BSC Oral Health Science in Scotland.
Since qualifying in 2015, she has worked as a hygienist/ therapist in both England and Scotland, whilst continuing her studies through post-graduate vocational training.
Her aim is to provide the highest quality of dental care in a relaxed and professional manner, improving patients' confidence by transforming their oral health.
In her free time, she likes to take part in sports such as rowing, running and the gym. She's very keen on travelling and really enjoys her time exploring the amazing places that New Zealand has to offer.
