From a young age, she knew that she would like to work in healthcare, and in 2019, she decided to follow her ambition and combine her love for people and her appreciation for finer details to pursue a career in dentistry.

During her studies, she had the ability to learn and collaborate with a variety of different dental specialities, which allowed her to practice and perfect her skills in restorative therapy for children under the age of 18 years, tooth whitening, dental hygiene and preventative periodontal treatment.

Amanda is passionate about taking a proactive, culturally safe and inclusive approach to fulfil the dental needs of her patients and her community. She takes pride in providing excellent patient-centred, evidence-based care to ensure that people get the dental treatment they need to promote overall health and boost their confidence.

She aims to maintain a good work-life balance and enjoys hiking, reading, cooking and exploring new places. She can speak Afrikaans and English and has recently decided to educate herself in New Zealand Sign Language.
