Dr Haval Al-Atroushi (B.D.S)

Dr Haval Al-Atroushi completed his Bachelor of Dental Science (B.D.S) in 1979 and holds over 30 years’ experience practicing across multiple fields. Dr Al-Atroushi enjoys all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and is committed to providing exceptional dentistry in a comfortable relaxed environment to produce quality results that last.

In his spare time Dr Al-Atroushi loves classical music, reading and walking.

Dr Eman Al-Yassiri (B.D.S)

Graduating in 1979 Dr Eman Al-Yassiri is committed to providing lasting dental care for the local community. With over 30 years’ experience as a practicing dentist Dr Al-Yassiri shares Lumino Waiuku core values of professionalism, patient centricity and quality.

Dr Al-Yassiri has an excellent chair side manner and has subsequently developed a great rapport with all her patients who value her passion and commitment to dentistry. Outside of work, Dr Al-Yassiri loves music, reading, cooking, travelling and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr Susan Clow (B.D.S)

In 1988, Susan graduated from The University of Otago with credit gaining the “Leask Memorial Medal Award” for restorative excellence.

Since 1990, Susan has owned and managed dental practices in Pukekohe and Orewa. 

Educating herself in New Zealand and overseas, Susan has special interest in restorative and rehabilitation of the entire dental and oral environment using skills in orthodontics, myofunctional, chirodontic, periodontal, restorative and aesthetic dentistry to put smiles back on faces.

In her spare time, Susan is renovating her home and garden landscape, has been a New Zealand representative in Duathlon and followed and supported her family in and around New Zealand and Canada in all their adventures.

Candice Ellery

Candice graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2017 with a BHSc in Oral Health. As an Oral Health Therapist, Candice practices both hygiene and provides dental treatment to adolescents and has a preventive approach to dentistry with interests in oral health education and treating gum disease. Candice strives to provide a comfortable environment for her patients. Outside of work, Candice plays netball, enjoys being at the beach and spending time with her young son and family.

Lisa Cook-Dearing

In 1995, Lisa obtained her degree in Canada and then moved to NZ in 1997 to work at a local Pukekohe practice. Her passion for oral hygiene education and good oral health transformation has always been her priority. Within the last 20 years her interests have taken Lisa to achieve a Diploma in Myofunctional Therapy and Orthodontic Procedures. With this knowledge onboard, it is possible to improve one’s overall health! When not at work, Lisa loves to ocean swim, ski run, read and dabble in a bit of painting.

April grew up in the UK and moved to New Zealand with her family when she was 12 years old.  April graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2021.

As an Oral Health Therapist, April helps people identify and treat infections of the teeth, gums, and supportive tissues and upkeeping general oral health. As well as oral health assessment, diagnosis, management, treatment and preventive care for adolescent patients, April believes in the importance of providing a gentle and comfortable dental experience. Janine has a wealth of experience in executive management and office administration having worked in senior roles across a diverse range of industries.  Janine is the go-to person in our practice and together with her dedicated team, is committed to ensuring you receive the best patient experience.  Janine has been a Waiuku local for 8 years after moving from central Auckland and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, motor sport and gardening.
