Marwa has lived in New Zealand for the last 18 years. After finishing high school in Auckland in 2005, she relocated to Dunedin to further her studies and has since settled here.

She graduated from the University of Otago in 2011 with a Bachelor of Oral Health (a combined degree of Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene). Prior to this in 2008 she obtained a Bachelor of Dental Technology, also from the University of Otago.

Her main goal is to provide preventive dental care in order to eliminate complicated dental issues. Marwa approaches this by promoting healthy oral hygiene practices and guiding patients to maintain good oral care at home.

Marwa believes working with each individual according to their needs is the key to helping them achieve a healthy oral environment. This is done by providing them with both clinical care and education. Making patients aware of their current oral health is the gateway to maintaining optimal oral health.

Marwa is married with two young children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, baking, and gardening.

She also enjoys going to the gym, reading, traveling, cooking, learning new languages, and learning about different cultures around the world.

Marwa is a member of The New Zealand Dental Hygienist Association, New Zealand Oral Health Therapist Association, and a member of The International Oral Health Association.
