Dr Richard Murphy
Richard graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2016. Since then, he has worked in busy NHS practices in both Manchester and London, followed by 3 years in a private practice in Dublin. He has recently arrived in New Zealand with his Kiwi partner.
Richard's primary goal is providing a wide variety of dental treatment in a safe and comfortable environment, where patients can feel at ease.
Richard has a lot of experience in Invisalign treatment and also has a keen interest in post graduate training. He recently completed a 12 month course in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in London.
Outside of dentistry Richard loves to travel, and is looking forward to experiencing the Kiwi way of life.
Moira Hughes
Moira joined the DentalOne team in April 2005, after moving here from London with her family, and has been with Lumino Pearl Dental Centre since May 2008. She qualified as a dental hygienist in 2000 from Guy's Hospital, London, and has worked full-time in London practices, gaining valuable experience.
Moira is very good with nervous patients, working gently but thoroughly. She feels all patients should be treated as she would like to be treated herself. Always dedicated to the profession, Moira keeps in step with current trends by regularly attending continuing professional development courses and hygiene meetings.
Gina Baulcomb
Gina Baulcomb qualified as a dental hygienist in 1995 Guy's Hospital, London before moving to New Zealand and completing a Certificate in Dental Therapy at the School for Dental Nurses, Wellington, in 1988.
Gina is committed to providing realistic, practical and thorough therapeutic dental hygiene treatment and oral health education. She keeps up to date with all new dental hygiene developments through regular conferences, seminars and training courses.
Outside of the practice, Gina enjoys oil painting and gardening in her spare time and watching her daughter dance. She also loves adventure travel where her destination has been Antarctica and Africa.
