Riana Clarke Dentist Red Beach
Dentist

Dr Riana Clarke

Dr Riana is an experienced dentist who holds primary degrees from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and her Masters degree from University College Cork, Ireland. Riana has been in the Red Beach practice since 2004 and has enjoyed meeting a wide variety of people and achieving great results for their teeth, while keeping them relaxed and at ease.

Her dental interests are wide and varied; from general to cosmetic including children's dentistry as well as surgery and disease prevention. 

Riana has 4 children and lives locally on the Hibiscus Coast.

Dentist

Dr Chris Shorrock

Chris originally comes from the UK and graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2012. After working in the UK, Swaziland and Whangarei Chris joined the Red Beach team in 2018. Chris enjoys being part of the friendly team at Red Beach, and getting to know his patients while providing the highest quality dental care.
 
Chris focuses on putting his patients at ease and providing high quality care in a relaxed atmosphere. He has an eye for detail and particularly enjoys the aesthetic results gained with crown and bridge work. Chris likes to keep up-to-date through regular conference attendance and professional development.
 
When he’s not working Chris likes to keep fit at CrossFit or hiking around New Zealand.

Les Chan
Dentist

Dr Les Chan

Les graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 1997. His first job was as a Dental/Maxillofacial House surgeon for Canterbury District Health Board based at Christchurch Hospital for two years. After this, he moved into private practice general dentistry in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.

In 2009 he completed a two-year Orthodontic mini-residency in Sydney and added this special interest to his skillset along with fillings, root canals, oral surgery, crown and bridgework and intravenous sedation.

Clinical Technician

Jake Innes

Jake has a Diploma in Dental Technology, Advanced Certificate in Clinical Dental Tech and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Dental Technologists. He has been working as a clinical technician for 15 years and enjoys the hands-on creativity of designing and making new smiles. Jake also works out of Lumino The Dentists Takapuna.

His specialties include repairs, partial dentures, full upper and lower dentures. 

When Jake is not busy working he likes to spend time with his family outdoors fishing, snorkelling, camping, hiking and skiing.

Red Beach Kelly Cho
Oral Health Therapist

Kelly Cho

Kelly graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a BHSc Oral Health (dental hygiene and therapy) in 2008. 

She likes meeting new people and building a good rapport with her patients. Kelly is interested in education to improve oral hygiene and updates her knowledge through a variety of courses.

When not in the practice Kelly likes to read, watch movies and talk with friends. 

Cheryl York OHT Red Beach
Oral Health Therapist

Cheryl York

Cheryl graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Sciences majoring in Oral Health in 2015. 

Her passion is inspiring her patients to maintain good oral health and giving them the tools to achieve this. Cheryl believes prevention is the best medicine!

In her spare time, Cheryl loves running with her two dogs and spending time with her young son.
