Meet Our Team

Jane graduated from Otago University School of Dentistry in 1992 - one of only a handful in her class to receive her degree with credit. Jane enjoyed spending some of her holiday time during her final year at university doing volunteer work in Tonga. Upon graduation she took up a position as Dental House Surgeon at Auckland, Middlemore and Greenlane Hospitals.

She spent a number of years working as an associate in a busy private dental clinic in Takapuna, taking a couple of short periods of maternity leave for the births of her two daughters. She moved to work in Remuera in 1999 and has worked in the area ever since. She has been a Lead Dentist for Lumino The Dentists since 2006.

Jane is a general dentist, providing many services such as crowns, bridges, implants, whitening, veneers as well as routine fillings. Her patients appreciate the time she spends talking with them about oral health and prevention of decay and gum problems. Jane sees a wide range of patients from all age groups in the community.

She says her main goal is to work with her patients to achieve optimal dental health and help them maintain their teeth for life. She relishes the long term relationships that form between patients and the dental team. 

Outside of the practice, Jane loves the outdoors, walking, running, cycling and the beach. Her family, of course is the one thing she can’t live without. 

Jeremy graduated from Otago University's School of Dentistry, in 2007. His first position was as the Dental House Officer at Palmerston North Hospital. After that, he moved to Australia to work as a dentist for three years. 

In 2013, Jeremy decided to move back to Taiwan and spend some time with his parents. After two examinations and a one-year internship in Taiwan, he obtained his Taiwan dental registration and then practised dentistry at a private practice in Taiwan. Recently Jeremy decided to return to New Zealand and become a member in Lumino Remuera Dental Centre.

After years of practice in dentistry, he has found that his key interests in all aspect of dentistry and continues to broaden his knowledge and skill through courses and conferences. Jeremy can speak fluent Mandarin/Chinese and some Taiwanese (the regional dialect).


牙医师

杰里米·江 毕业于新西兰奥塔哥(Otago)大学牙医学系。毕业后, 他立即开始在新西兰北帕默斯顿医院担任牙医师。经过了两年的医院职业生涯, 他辗转得申请到了澳大利亚墨尔本皇家牙科医院的牙医师职缺, 于是他便搬到澳大利亚。

由于长期离开家在外求学和工作, 在2013年杰里米决定搬回台湾陪伴他的父母。在经过台湾的牙医师国家考试(两份的笔试及一年的实习)后, 杰里米取得了他的台湾牙医师执照, 并在台湾的私人诊所职业。杰里米最近决定返回新西兰并成为Lumino位于Remuera区的Remuera Dental Centre成员。

经过多年的牙医职业, 杰里米发现, 他的兴趣不局限于某一特定的牙科专科。他持续通过课程和会议来扩大他的牙科知识和技术。杰里米能说一口流利的普通话/中文, 甚至会说台湾话(地方语言)。

Beverley Tam graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997. She is passionate about dentistry and directs her attention on patient care. She always likes to ensure her patients are well looked after and to ensure they are comfortable in a relaxed and friendly environment. She explains thoroughly your treatment options to allow you to reach a decsion that best suits your needs. She enjoys general dentistry as well as cosmetics/crowns/implants crowns. She regulary attends courses to keep up to date with continuing education. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and Auckland Dental Association as well as the New Zealand Society of Endodontics. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, baking, shopping and spending time with family and friends. 

Christine graduated in 1999 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene – Eastman Dental Hospital London.

She worked in a family practice and specialist implant practice before moving back to New Zealand in 2003 where she worked in Glendowie then Remuera and joined Lumino in 2006.

Always keen to learn more Christine regularly attends conferences and continuing education courses, she also attends hygiene meetings to keep up with current trends.

Her main goals include making the dental experience more pleasurable for patients and she most enjoys interacting with patients and motivating them to improve their oral hygiene. 

She says she can’t live without chocolate and enjoys travel, theatre and cinema visits. Prior to this profession, Christine was a primary school teacher! In her spare time she also enjoys reading a good book at the beach. 

Maybiliene’s dental journey started in New York back in 2009 where she’s started working as a DA. Today, she’s been registered as a DA for more than 10 years. In her career, she’s worked with excellent dentists and has learnt and continues to learn more about the different areas of dentistry and how the dental industry works.

Recently, Maybiliene’s taken on a challenge. We are excited to say that she is now the Practice Manager at Remuera Dental Centre.

Her main goals in her role are to create a positive and healthy environment for her team and practice.

What she loves most about her job is being able to see people grow in their careers.

Her most favourite thing to do outside of the practice is to spend time with her husband and two girls which makes her favourite place to be her home.

Something that might surprise you about Maybiliene is her contagious laugh. Overall, she’s a very happy and positive person.
