Dr Ben Harris

Ben graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997. He spent two years working in Dunedin and then Christchurch hospital after graduation before heading to work in London. After nine years away from Christchurch practicing dentistry in London and Auckland, Ben returned home to Christchurch in 2007, having just completed his Fellowship in Sydney, Australia.

Ben has been on the Lumino clinical board since 2011 and is an active member of the NZ Dental Association and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

After nine years away from Christchurch practicing dentistry in London and Auckland, Ben returned home to Christchurch in 2007, having just completed his Fellowship in Sydney, Australia.

Ben has been on the Lumino clinical board since 2011 and is an active member of the NZ Dental Association and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Ben has always strived to achieve excellence in his work and stay at the forefront of technical advancements in dentistry. He performs general and cosmetic dentistry using the latest equipment, materials and methods including digital scanning and digital smile design. He is driven to give his patients the best care and experience possible. He regularly attends lectures and courses from minimal intervention to advanced procedures such as root canal therapy and Implant restoration.

Ben has an interest in reconstructing worn mouths and the prevention of dental disease. He enjoys developing and implementing a long term plan which future proofs someone’s mouth, with the goal of leaving the patient in a maintenance program with peace of mind that their teeth are disease-free and optimally restored.

Ben grew up on a farm in North Canterbury and brings exceptional skills, experience and clear no-fuss communication to the team. Outside of dentistry Ben has a passion for health and fitness and can either be found at the gym, spending time with his young family or thinking about going back to the gym.

Elliot
Dentist

Dr Elliot Stevens

Elliot started her career as a dental assistant in her home town of Dunedin in 2006. She completed her BDS, graduating with Distinction from Otago in 2013, and has worked in Dunedin, Hamilton, Tauranga and Christchurch.

In addition to providing all aspects of general dentistry, fillings, implants, crowns, bridges, extractions and dentures, she has an interest in providing gentle dentistry for those patients who are nervous about a visit to the dentist or have not had a positive experience in the past. She offers both oral and intravenous sedation allowing "sleep dentistry" to make the experience more pleasant.

Elliot loves her job as a dentist. She really enjoys helping people improve their dental health, listening to each individual about what they would like for their mouth and working with them to tailor a treatment plan to their specific needs.

Elliot has worked for Lumino for seven years and takes pride in being part of a team that provides excellent dentistry, a high standard of care and customer service and strives to make the experience as comfortable as possible for new and existing patients.

Krizzia Del Rosario

Krizzia graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago in 2018. Since then she has worked in both public and private practices.

Her first job was at the Hawkes Bay DHB where Krizzia grew up, treating kids 18 and under, this job allowed her to sharpen her surgical skills, which included fillings, pulpotomies and extractions of primary teeth. She then pursued private work where she found her passion for oral hygiene and the links to systemic health.

Krizzia's goals are to improve patient outcomes and to continue to grow and expand her knowledge as there is always something to learn. The thing Krizzia loves most about her job is getting to know her patients and the satisfaction of patients after an appointment.

Krizzia has always had a passion for working with children and helping others improve their overall well being. Outside of work Krizzia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, reading, hiking, and swimming at the beach. Krizzia is also a certified yoga teacher and has a side hustle making cakes! Aside from all of this, Krizzia is also a mother.

Muskan
Oral Health Therapist

Muskan Khan

Muskan moved to Christchurch with her family in 2010. She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral health therapy from Auckland University of Technology in 2021.

Muskan is very gentle with her patients and she is committed to improving patients oral health. She loves working with children and has a passion for dental care and a keen interest in helping people from diverse backgrounds. She believes in explaining and encouraging the importance of home care to achieve oral health. Her kind and caring nature makes patients comfortable and relieves dental anxiety.

Outside of work Muskan enjoys being outdoors spending time with her family and friends. She particularly enjoys rock climbing, hiking and exploring new hiking routes.
