Ken graduated from Otago Dental School in 1987 and worked at Auckland Hospital for 2 years as a Dental House Surgeon before moving to Wellington in 1989 to set up Karori Dental Centre.

Ken is happily married with two children. He likes to have a good balance in life and values family time and socialising with friends which is very important to him. Ken’s other interests include gardening, contemporary NZ art, keeping tropical fish and trying to maintain his fitness at the gym.
Li Ling graduated with a BDS from the University of Otago in 2012, she joined the Lumino team at Karori in September 2015.
Li Ling enjoys getting to know her patients and making them feel at ease. She loves being a dentist and is most interested in making fillings look as natural as possible and has a growing interest in cosmetic dentistry.
She has furthered her studies and have completed the MRACDS(GDP) exams with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
When she is not at the practice, Li Ling enjoys spending her time outdoors tramping, scuba diving and skiing.

Show more...Cindy qualified from Barts and the London Dental Institute, UK in 2018. Whilst at university, she was chosen to participate in an Erasmus Exchange programme at the prestigious Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, which has been ranked first in the world for Dentistry (2015, 2019).
Cindy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has practised in London and Manchester before relocating to Wellington with her husband in 2024. She is committed to further education to provide the best possible care for her patients and in 2022, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. In 2023, Cindy was accepted as a Member of the Faculty of Dentistry at Glasgow's Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons following written and oral examinations.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys hiking, yoga and playing the piano.
