Simon is following his passion in providing Orthodontic Treatment and completed his Cosmetic Orthodontic training with two of America’s foremost cosmetic orthodontic dentists.
He provides orthodontic assessments from age 8, and will provide early treatment to prevent some more serious problems developing. He treats all ages with clear and metal braces and has been using short term orthodontic systems, known as 6 Month Smiles, for 6 years.
He has also completed a two year mini-residency in Sydney under orthodontist Derek Mahony where he undertook over 700 hours of training. Patients are informed verbally and in writing that he is a dentist with training in orthodontics and continues to work with specialist orthodontists for complex cases.
Moreover, Simon also handles dental implant procedures at the practice.
Simon and his family moved to Kerikeri in 2008 to enjoy the winterless north and a more relaxed lifestyle.
The Lead Dentist at KDC, Simon is always striving to provide patients with a memorable comfortable experience, knowledgeable advice and expert dental care. An ongoing commitment to continuing education and the many hours he invests in advanced training ensures that his patients receive the best possible and most evidence based treatment available.
He would also like to continue on next year with another two years to complete an MClinDent in Ortho. Simon has been instrumental in bringing new technologies to the practise – Cerec technology – where we can repair and restore your tooth with the best tooth coloured material in one visit.

In dentistry, Jennifer loves providing a variety of treatment; but especially loves cosmetic composite (white fillings) on front teeth, and restoring confidence in people who feel that they have lost their smile. She takes pride in getting to know her patients on a 1:1 level; and will always strive to create a trusting relationship that she hopes will last over many years. She regularly takes part in dental courses, and from these she now has a passion for providing work on broken teeth, such as same day crowns, and sedation for anxious patients. Before leaving Scotland she also used to work alongside another dentist providing mouthguards for the Scotland rugby team; just don’t ask her who would win if Scotland were to VS the All Blacks!
Outside of work, Jennifer loves to spend time with her family, and travel the world as much as she can. She can’t wait to meet you all soon.
