Dr Venus Hon
Venus graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2000, and has been working in the Manawatu region since. She believes in providing high quality day to day dental care with gentle hands.
Venus is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the New Zealand Society of Forensics Odontology.
She enjoys the variable aspects of general dentistry and believes in impowering people with knowledge to prevent and treat dental diseases.
Venus is originally from Hong Kong and moved to New Zealand in 1991. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Angie Ong
Angie graduated from AUT University in with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health in 2016 at the top of her class.
Her academic awards include the Annette King Trophy for the best overall academic achievement in the Oral Health Papers; The Colgate Oral Care Academic Achievement Prize for the highest average mark in Year 1 to 3; The AUT Citizenship Award for significant contribution to AUT, Oral Health Department and the community; and the Wolters Kluwer Oral Health Promotion Prize for outstanding achievement and understanding of Oral Health Promotion Methodologies.
Her clinical interests are advanced periodontal disease while outside of work, she spends most of what spare time she has organising her personal library and repairing book for the Church Library.
Dr Emma Li

Emma received dental training in both New Zealand and China, and has been practising since 2008. After completing her postgraduate studies and working as a Professional Practice Fellow (clinical tutor) at University of Otago, she continued her career in private clinics—spending about eight years in the Otago region and three years in Auckland—before joining us.
Emma has special interests in oral surgery (such as wisdom tooth extractions) and prosthodontics (including cosmetic veneers, crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures). She also completed a Master's degree in Dental Technology at Otago, which broadened her knowledge of dental materials and prosthodontics.…
