Dr Charlie Meade
Charlie graduated with a BDS from Otago University in 1973.
Charlie enjoys patient contact, especially now he is treating third generation patients. Charlie is interested in Cosmetic Dentistry and attends courses to continue his education.
Outside of work hours Charlie enjoys fishing, boating and spending time with his three young grandchildren.
Dr Chin Tay
Chin is an experienced dentist who grew up in New Zealand and graduated in 2000 with a BDS from the University of Otago.
Chin aims to provide good quality, reliable dentistry in a friendly and relaxed environment, and prides himself on his excellent communication skills.
Chin enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in endodontics and a focus on preventive dentistry.
When not at work, he enjoys working out at the gym, music, food and travel.
Dr Ranee Charya
Dr Ranee Charya graduated in 1996 from the University of Otago. She started practicing in Wellington providing dentistry for low-income families at the resource center.
She enjoys performing all forms of general dentistry and providing care for anxious patients and children working across Lumino Glenfield & Lumino Viva.
She moved to Auckland in 2003 and has been working for Viva dental for the past 20 years.
Her passion is in community and preventive dentistry.
Jake Innes
Jake has a Diploma in Dental Technology, an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Dental Tech and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Dental Technologists.
He has been working as a clinical technician for 15 years and enjoys the hands-on creativity of designing and making new smiles. Jake also works out of Lumino The Dentists Red Beach.
His specialties include repairs, partial dentures, full upper and lower dentures.
When Jake is not busy working he likes to spend time with his family outdoors fishing, snorkelling, camping, hiking and skiing.
Jeniffer Madeja-Sinvichit
Jennifer worked at Lumino as a Dental Assistant for more than 12 years before pursuing her study. She graduated in 2019 with a BHSc in Oral Health at Auckland University of Technology.
Before studying, she was always passionate about oral health and gained professionalism with patient care. Upon gaining her qualification at university, she worked at WDHB Auckland Regional Dental Services as a Dental Therapist.
As an Oral Health Therapist, she is very passionate about helping individuals achieve and maintain optimum oral health through oral health promotion, education, and disease prevention.
Outside of work, she’s a busy Mom of adorable two young boys and dedicated to spending as much time with them as possible.
Neha Bhatt
Neha graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health. Prior to this, she worked in the dental field in both India and New Zealand, experiences that further strengthened her passion for patient care and preventative dentistry. Neha enjoys all aspects of Oral Health Therapy, particularly hygiene treatment, oral health education, and helping children build positive dental habits from an early age. She understands that visiting the dentist can feel overwhelming for some patients and aims to create a calm, friendly, and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside of work, Neha enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new cafés and beaches, and going on hiking trails.
Wendy Eastwood
Wendy started her career in dentistry 25 years ago, 10 years with Lumino. Her experience started as a Dental Assistant moving onto Senior Receptionist and Practice Co-ordinator roles before taking on her current role as a Multi-Site Practice Manager of Lumino Glenfield and Lumino Viva Birkenhead. Wendy enjoys working closely with her team members to ensure our patients receive a professional and high standard of dental care, they feel respected and comfortable within our practices. Outside of dentistry Wendy spends time with her family, friends and 2 fur babies.
