Dr Andrew Middlemiss graduated with a BDS from The University of Otago in 2001. He has spent the last 10 years practising dentistry in London.
His primary clinical interests include minimally invasive dentistry, Invisalign orthodontics and additive composite bonding.
Andrew says he enjoys working with patients to create beautiful, natural smiles.
While practicing in London Andrew was a member of the BACD. (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). He is continuing his professional development which centres around Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. He has attended Chris Orr's Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry programme as well as participating in Pankey mentoring.
Outside of the practice, Andrew enjoys travelling, snowboarding and spending time with his young family.

He strongly believes that there is always more to learn in dentistry and strives to constantly update his knowledge. For him, fields of interest within dentistry include prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures), endodontics (root canal therapy), dental sleep medicine, and orthodontics. He believes that one of the most foundational aspects of dentistry is establishing trust and mutual understanding. For him, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is having anxious patients feel at ease during treatment, as this in turn helps them to become more proactive in maintaining their oral health.
He is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, and New Zealand Society of Endodontics, and holds professional registrations with the New Zealand Dental Council and the Dental Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He has pursued continuing education with the Dental Sleep Institute, the Global Institute for Dental Education, and the International Team for Implantology. He is an Invisalign and Spark Aligners provider and has completed the Orthodontic Mini Residency in Clear Aligner Technique by orthodontist Dr Sandra Khong Tai. He is currently furthering his orthodontic education through The OrthoEd Institute which is run by orthodontist Dr Geoffrey Hall.
Having grown up in Hamilton, he has over the last few years made the Wellington region home. Outside of dentistry he enjoys playing guitar, exploring the outdoors, and is a keen home cook.
Tina graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University in 2021. She then worked as a House Officer at the National Hospital of Samoa for 18 months before returning to New Zealand for further exposure to the different aspects of dentistry. Tina enjoys a bit of everything with particular interest in oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics. She strives to provide a patient centred holistic experience. Tina believes in the importance of ongoing learning so she aims to keep up with the dental literature and to learn new skills and knowledge.

Ivy graduated with an oral health degree from the University of Otago. Originally from Auckland, she moved to Dunedin to pursue her studies after earning a scholarship. Ivy worked throughout high school and university to support herself and her family's travels. She has a younger sister she adores and a younger brother she wants to sell off.
Ivy is dedicated to providing high-quality care, utilising her strengths in efficiency, manual dexterity, patience and a knack for working with children. Ivy is excited to tackle new challenges in the vibrant city of Wellington. Her goal is to work together with her patients to create healthy smiles.
Moira is easy going and friendly and enjoys striking up a conversation with patients. She does her best to make people feel at ease and comfortable during their time at Lumino Victoria Street.
