Michael grew up in Northern Ireland, but after receiving his degree in Manchester and working in the UK for a few years he came to New Zealand in 2005 for a working holiday.
He enjoyed his time here so much that he returned in 2010, originally working on the west coast and finally settling in Otago.
Within the surgery he places a strong emphasis on informed consent, and work to make each patient aware of their options and the consequences of each one. He aims to help patients to keep a sense of control within the surgery, to reduce fear and anxiety, and to demystify dental procedures.
Originally from Auckland, Harriet graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2022.
She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but her favourite part is getting to meet patients every day and hearing their stories. Harriet is passionate about patient-centred care; it is important to her that every person has the autonomy to make decisions for themselves.
In Harriet’s spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking and exploring the outdoors – in particular biking and kayaking.
Samantha is a registered Oral Health Therapist, graduating from the University of Otago in 2010 with the dual degree in the Bachelor of Oral Heath. She has lived in Dunedin her whole life, working in the Milton practice since 2011.
Sam enjoys getting to know her patients and building a relationship with them so they feel comfortable in an environment that can sometimes feel a little scary. Sam likes to attends yearly dental conferences to make sure she is keeping up to date with the latest research. She then applies this to her practice where appropriate.
In her spare time Sam enjoy spending time with her family and friends and is never afraid to try something new.
Ai Lin graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago. She then worked in Auckland and Waikato providing dental care for the private and public sector.
She is passionate about prosthodontics and is currently pursuing her specialist degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Otago.
Besides dentistry, Ai Lin enjoys practising aerial silks and playing her ukulele.
