Dr Andrew Middlemiss graduated with a BDS from The University of Otago in 2001. He has spent the last 10 years practising dentistry in London.
His primary clinical interests include minimally invasive dentistry, Invisalign orthodontics and additive composite bonding.
Andrew says he enjoys working with patients to create beautiful, natural smiles.
While practicing in London Andrew was a member of the BACD. (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). He is continuing his professional development which centres around Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. He has attended Chris Orr's Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry programme as well as participating in Pankey mentoring.
Outside of the practice, Andrew enjoys travelling, snowboarding and spending time with his young family.
Louisa graduated from the University of Otago in 2013.
Louisa enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and prides herself on providing work at the highest clinical standard, using up to date methods and technology. Louisa is excellent with our anxious patients and takes care to make sure treatments are pain-free and patients are comfortable throughout their dental journey.
Louisa has special interests in all aspects of oral surgery, and dental extractions and is qualified to place and restore dental implants.

After completing a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Auckland, Joo realised that actually dentistry was her calling and graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago.
Prior to starting at Lumino, Joo worked at Wellington Hospital for two years, then moved to sunny Hawke's Bay to take on a role as a Dental/Maxillofacial house surgeon where she provided treatment for medically complex patients and trauma patients.

Marinette Alamani is a very experienced and sought-after dental hygienist. Marinette graduated in 1987 as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in Manila, Philippines and was .part of the Karen Harris Dental team before they joined Lumino.
She enjoys building a relationship with patients which is vital to educating them and gaining their trust. Her dental interests include informing patients of good oral health care and running a more effective and efficient hygiene department. Marinette also keeps her skills up to date by continuously attending education programs, seminars and conferences.
Claire completed her BSC oral health science in the University of Highlands and Islands in 2015. Post-graduation Claire worked in the UK until 2018 when her and her partner decided to relocate to New Zealand.
Claire is passionate about Oral Health and Education to help patients maintain their teeth for as long as possible. She works closely with the dentists at the practice to ensure our patients gums are in the best condition for any treatment. Claire’s favourite part of the job is definitely her patients, she enjoys a good chat!
Outside of the job, Claire loves being in the outdoors, snowboarding, tramping, anything in the beautiful New Zealand countryside. But her favourite place to be is the beach!

During the lockdown periods in Auckland Victoria was part of the Covid Surge Workforce as a vaccinator, cold chain management staff and swabber. She is a qualified provisional vaccinator who can administer influenza and MMR vaccines, plus COVID-19 vaccines.
