Meet Our Team

Louisa graduated from the University of Otago in 2013.

Louisa enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and prides herself on providing work at the highest clinical standard, using up to date methods and technology. Louisa is excellent with our anxious patients and takes care to make sure treatments are pain-free and patients are comfortable throughout their dental journey.

Louisa has special interests in all aspects of oral surgery, and dental extractions and is qualified to place and restore dental implants.

Louisa has done a raft of additional training and is an Invisalign GO provider. Along with being certified in using Botox, Dysport and Dermal Fillers for lip enhancement by the Australian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics.

When Louisa isn’t in the surgery, she enjoys making jewelry, socializing with friends, and working out at the gym.

Louisa works full-time at Lumino The Terrace.

After completing a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Auckland, Joo realised that actually dentistry was her calling and graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago. 

Prior to starting at Lumino, Joo worked at Wellington Hospital for two years, then moved to sunny Hawke's Bay to take on a role as a Dental/Maxillofacial house surgeon where she provided treatment for medically complex patients and trauma patients. 

Joo is interested in minimal intervention dentistry, where focus is on a preventive approach.  Her main goals include working together with her patients to achieve optimum dental health and she enjoys seeing the improvements in her patient's oral health as they work together. 

Outside of the practice, Joo has a variety of hobbies including learning Spanish, pottery, drawing, snowboarding and working out at the gym. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in Hawke's Bay but is very excited to return to Wellington and all it has to offer!

Tina graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University in 2021.  After graduation, Tina returned to Samoa to work as a House Officer at the National Hospital of Samoa for 18 months.  Tina is thrilled to be working with the Lumino group to expand on her ever growing dental knowledge. Whilst Tina has special interests in oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics, she enjoys doing all aspects of general dental care.  Tina has a very patient centric approach to dentistry and believes in educating her patients on their dental needs so they can make full and informed decisions for their oral health.   

Tina is fluent in both English and Samoan, and outside of her surgery, she enjoys reading and gets quite competitive when it comes to games and sports.

Emma is  a born and bred Wellingtonian.  She graduated from Otago University before returning home to Wellington.

After graduation, Emma was chosen to work at Wellington hospital where she was working as a House Surgeon until joining us here at Lumino The Terrace.

Emma is excited to be joining the team on The Terrace.  She enjoys most aspects of dentistry and has extensive experience with Oral Surgery.  At the hospital she work closely with the Oral Maxilla Facial Surgeons.  She enjoys working with her patients to achieve optimal dental health and believes in assessing a patient as a whole person and not just as a set of teeth.  Emma is working closely with Andrew our lead dentist to deliver the patient care you are all used to at The Terrace.

In her spare time Emma loves being in the outdoors, running, hiking and travelling.  You’ll often find Emma running around the bays or relaxing at one of the fabulous cafes Wellington has to offer.

Victoria graduated at the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology in 2012, and a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2015. 

After graduating Victoria worked at private practices in Dunedin and Auckland. She was also an Oral Health tutor at the Faculty of Dentistry in Otago, where she strived to educate students to become confident and proficient clinicians, which will help prepare them for working life. 

Victoria’s main focus at work is to provide a pleasant and comfortable environment for her patients especially those with a dental phobia. She is passionate about improving oral health and wellbeing through education and excellent dental service. Victoria maintains her knowledge and experience by attending professional development lectures and courses. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the New Zealand Oral Health Association. 

Outside of work she enjoys reading, practising watercolour painting, improving her culinary skills, and spending time going for walks or being at the beach with her husband and 8month old daughter Ava.

During the lockdown periods in Auckland Victoria was part of the Covid Surge Workforce as a vaccinator, cold chain management staff and swabber. She is a qualified provisional vaccinator who can administer influenza and MMR vaccines, plus COVID-19 vaccines.

Lynley has been working in dentistry since 1999. She started as a Dental Assistant and has learned all aspects of the business. She lived in London for 12 years and during that time managed one of the most prestigious dental groups in Harley Street.

Lynley strongly believes in providing information to empower patients to be able to make the best decisions for their oral health.

You will find Lynley around the practice ready for a casual chit chat or a deep discussion about your dental treatment. If you have any questions, she is always happy to give you the time to discuss.

When she is not in the practice, she is a busy mum of two young girls and is currently studying a Bachelor of Business.
