Dr Andrea Shepperson leads the City Dental at Quay Park Team.

Dr Andrea Shepperson is New Zealand’s only Digital Smile Design Master, a group of dentists and ceramists recognised globally for their skill in Digital Smile Design and highly aesthetic delivery of cosmetic dentistry.

She has been influential in shaping cosmetic and general dentistry in New Zealand through innovation, trend setting and clinical excellence. Her role extends to teaching dentists around the world about cosmetic dentistry and she is the only New Zealand dentist to have been invited to lecture at the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and working closely with master cosmetic ceramists, she crafts beautiful and natural smiles with skill and an eye for detail. Cosmetic dental procedures include, smile design, trial smile, porcelain veneers and crowns makeovers, bridges, cosmetic implants, cosmetic dentures and complex reconstruction of bites and worn teeth

Dr Taylor offers 'twilight sleep' dentistry for your comfort - a solution to help our clients overcome their phobia of dentistry. Mark started practising in Auckland in 1996 when he established four Accident & Emergency practices - three on the North Shore and one at Ascot Hospital.

Mark has always strived to achieve excellence in his work and stay at the forefront of technical advancements in dentistry. He regularly attends lectures and courses from minimal intervention to sophisticated procedures such as endodontics (root canal therapy) and oral surgery.

Mark has expanded his surgical skills and we can offer our clients the complete package in-house for implant restorative dentistry. Mark comes from a farming background in Central Hawkes Bay and brings warmth, empathy and clear communication skills to the team. His latest project is the restoration of a beaten up old launch in which he plans to catch the "big one that got away".

Dr Fiona van Heerden graduated from the University of Otago School of Dentistry in 1994. She began her Dental Career at Canterbury Health as a Dental Housesurgeon before settling into private practice, working in St Heliers for over 20 years.

Fiona really enjoys people and developing relationships with her patients. She regards prevention to be the most important part of dentistry and strives to provide the best possible care to her patients.

Her greatest area of interest is cosmetic dentistry – crowns, veneers and Invisalign treatment. She is currently furthering her education in the restoration of severely worn teeth and full mouth reconstructions. She is qualified to provide IV sedation for treatment.

Fiona played hockey with a passion that was sadly not matched by skill for many years. Now retired, she spends her weekends on the side of the pool supporting and managing water polo teams.

As an Oral Health Therapist, Prateek is passionate about promoting good oral health to patients. Prateek graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health in 2016, and has been practicing for several years in both the private and public sectors.

Prateek's expertise lies not only in cleaning teeth and removing plaque and tartar, but also in educating patients about the importance of good oral hygiene habits, how they can maintain healthy teeth and gums, and teeth whitening.

During appointments, Prateek takes the time to listen to patients' concerns and provide tailored recommendations for their unique dental needs. Prateek is also well-versed in identifying early signs of dental disease and working with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

In addition to Prateek's technical skills, Prateek is known for having a gentle touch and calming presence, making even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Prateek believes that dental visits should be as comfortable and stress-free as possible, and strives to create a welcoming environment. Above all, Prateek is committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile that they can be proud of for years to come.

Outside of the practice, Prateek likes to live an adventurous and physical lifestyle. You can find Prateek surfing, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors that New Zealand has to offer. On those rainy days, Prateek loves to cook and play guitar.
