After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Ricky completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital, treating complex and medically compromised patients. Then worked as a General Dentist at Southern Jersey Family Medical Center before being accepted into an Orthodontic Residency. Ricky is an American Board Certified Orthodontist (2024).

In general dentistry, Ricky enjoys fixed dental prosthodontics (FDP), whether on implants or natural abutment teeth, focusing on creating beautiful, functional restorations in collaboration with the lab. In orthodontics, he loves working with teens and adults, guiding them through the multi-year treatment process, building strong rapport along the way, and emphasizing oral hygiene and long-term dental health.

Outside of work, Ricky enjoys exploring new places and capturing memories with Polaroid prints, which let him add little notes. He enjoys travel, good food, and cooking with friends and family, whether around a campfire or a cozy fireplace with hot chocolate, tea, or coffee. Ricky is passionate about music and sci-fi books like The Three-Body Problem, and enjoys swapping recommendations. His favorite time in nature so far is Glacier National Park in the USA, which he highly recommends! He'd love to hear about your favorite spots, too.
