Dr Brett Hawkins

Dr Brett Hawkins graduated from the University of Otago School of Dentistry in 1992 and started his career in Christchurch Hospital. The warmer weather drew him to the north with his young family where he worked in a busy cosmetic practice in Whangarei.

Since 1995 he has practised dentistry in Auckland, with his main interests being orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Brett practices at Lumino The Dentists in Mt Eden and Takapuna. 

As the head of a thriving orthodontic programme, Brett straightens the teeth of adolescent and adult patients using traditional braces and also using Invisalign®. Brett is a Platinum Elite Invisalign® provider.

Offering treatments to different ages:

  • Invisalign® Adult
  • Invisalign® Teen (12-18 year olds): Growing patients with all adult teeth
  • Invisalign® First (8-12 year olds): Growing patients, with a mixture of adult and baby teeth. Early treatment is to guide growth and reduce major future issues.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Includes a FREE 30-minute Invisalign® consultation, including a 3D digital scan and orthodontic assessment with an Invisalign® treatment plan at Lumino Mount Eden Dominion Road

  • To be eligible, you must book an appointment on or before 14th March 2026 with the participating clinician 

  • You will get a discount of up to $1,000 off your Invisalign® treatment if you accept your treatment plan on the day of the appointment 

  • To be eligible for the additional $200 family discount you must attend with a family member or friend, both must sign up to treatment and pay a  deposit towards their Invisalign plans.

  • To be eligible for an additional $50 treatment credit the referrer must be a current/existing patient at either Lumino White Smile or Lumino Mt Eden. The referrer will receive the $50 credit to their Lumino account if the person they referred signs up to Invisalign treatment and pays their deposit on the Open Day.
