I’m Elyza, an Oral Health Therapist who works in the Lumino Mobile Unit 1. As a kid growing up in the Philippines, I didn’t have the best teeth or access to dental care. After immigrating to New Zealand, I knew I wanted to work with kids while also pursuing my passion for dentistry. This led me to study a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Otago, where I graduated from in 2018. When I’m not looking at teeth, I’m a true foodie enjoying all types of cuisines, exploring the many outdoor walks & hikes around New Zealand, and travelling with my friends!
Eman graduated with a bachelor's degree of dental surgery, gained experience as a general dentist at various hospitals as well as community dentistry. Eman has a special interest in restorative and preventative dentistry. She has been working at the mobile unit for more than twenty years and enjoys working with students and making their dental experience enjoyable. Eman has been registered with the NZ Dental Council since 2001 and is a member of NZ Dental Association and Auckland Dental Association. Outside of work she likes reading, traveling, cooking, and watching movies.
Lilian Iskander graduated with a BDS Dental Surgery in 1985 and has been a Registered Dentist in New Zealand since 1999. Lilian is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and Auckland
Dental Association (ADA). She has been working at Lumino the Dentists since 2000!
Lilian is specialised in preventative and conservative dentistry for adolescents since 2000. Outside of work she enjoys travel, music, singing and kayaking.

Shahil started his journey emphasising the importance of dental care in a public sector. Working at a public sector has boosted and molded Shahil into the young energetic OHT he is today.
Outside of Oral Health Therapy, Shahil is also a huge fitness enthusiast. Having completed his certificate for personal training, Shahil loves being active; playing a variety of sports, hiking and spending most of his spare time at the gym. Suhaylah graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2021 in Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health. Dual Qualified as a Therapist and Hygienist.
Before joining Lumino Suhaylah worked at the DHB and Toothgroup family dentistry.
Suhaylah is passionate about providing the best oral health care to her patients. Suhaylah wants her patients to enjoy every dental visit with her. Suhaylah loves providing oral health education to her patients and seeing them feel confident about their smiles. Suhaylah can speak Hindi and English.
Suhaylah’s hobbies are baking, dancing and shopping. She also enjoys spending time with family and trying out different foods.
Rebecca graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2013 with a dual degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.
Originally from Hamilton her interest in dentistry began as a child and she became more fascinated in this field as she underwent 3 years of orthodontic work as a teenager. It has expanded in to a great passion which she brings into her practice every day. She believes that prevention is key and will always go the extra mile to help her patients to achieve great oral health.
She likes to live an active lifestyle as well as keeping herself busy. Some of Rebecca’s hobbies include attending music events, playing piano, cooking, surfing, snowboarding, caving and travel!
Tracey has been with Lumino for just over 2 years, running the 4 Mobile Dental Units in Auckland and Hamilton. She is passionate about the Oral Health of the teenagers at the secondary schools they visit.
Outside of Lumino Tracey is a Mum of 2, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and being the household taxi driver.
