Dr Riana Clarke
Dr Riana is an experienced dentist who holds primary degrees from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and her Masters degree from University College Cork, Ireland. Riana has been in the Red Beach practice since 2004 and has enjoyed meeting a wide variety of people and achieving great results for their teeth, while keeping them relaxed and at ease.
Her dental interests are wide and varied; from general to cosmetic including children's dentistry as well as surgery and disease prevention.
Riana has 4 children and lives locally on the Hibiscus Coast.

Dr Chris Shorrock
Originally from the UK, Chris moved to New Zealand to embrace a more active, outdoor lifestyle. After working in the UK, he spent two years in private practice in Swaziland, Southern Africa, before returning to rural Wales and eventually relocating to New Zealand.
Chris enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a patient-centered approach that involves collaborating with patients to create tailored treatment plans. His focus on minimally invasive and preventative dentistry is complemented by his dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements through conferences and ongoing professional development.
Chris is back with us for a limited time before embarking on his next overseas adventure. Outside of work, he enjoys tramping, running, swimming, and, of course, traveling.
Dr Catherine See
Catherine graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago. After working across the Southland region, she moved to Auckland to join the Red Beach team. She has been part of Lumino The Dentists since 2019.
Catherine is passionate about providing quality dental care to her patients. She puts her patients' interests first and aims to help nervous patients feel at ease in the dental setting.
Originally from Malaysia, she is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Malay. Outside of work, her hobbies include running, hiking and exploring the great outdoors.
Jake Innes
Jake has a Diploma in Dental Technology, Advanced Certificate in Clinical Dental Tech and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Dental Technologists. He has been working as a clinical technician for 15 years and enjoys the hands-on creativity of designing and making new smiles. Jake also works out of Lumino The Dentists Takapuna.
His specialties include repairs, partial dentures, full upper and lower dentures.
When Jake is not busy working he likes to spend time with his family outdoors fishing, snorkelling, camping, hiking and skiing.
Kelly Cho
Kelly graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a BHSc Oral Health (dental hygiene and therapy) in 2008.
She likes meeting new people and building a good rapport with her patients. Kelly is interested in education to improve oral hygiene and updates her knowledge through a variety of courses.
When not in the practice Kelly likes to read, watch movies and talk with friends.
Cheryl York
Cheryl graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Sciences majoring in Oral Health in 2015.
Her passion is inspiring her patients to maintain good oral health and giving them the tools to achieve this. Cheryl believes prevention is the best medicine!
In her spare time, Cheryl loves running with her two dogs and spending time with her young son.
