Who we are

Viva Dental is one of the longest operating dental practices on the North Shore, treating generations of North Shore families since 1950.

The practice, located on Hinemoa Street in Birkenhead, has three experienced dentists on staff, Lead Dentist Dr Mike Wu, Dr Ranee Charya, and Dr Shelley Paterson.

All of our dentists were trained at Otago University and have over 20 years of experience. They all pride themselves in offering exceptional, gentle, quality dental care.

Our range of services includes dental exams and x-rays, hygiene services, root canals, dentures, orthodontic braces, and many more.

All of our practices accept all major credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. Most of our practices also accept American Express and Diners Club. Simply confirm when you book an appointment if you would like to pay using either American Express or Diners Club. 

If you have a credit card not listed here, please discuss this with the practice receptionist who will be happy to request payment authorisation with the applicable bank.

You are welcome to settle your account using cash and or EFTPOS.
