What made you decide to get into dentistry as a career?
I have a passion for helping others and am interested in the field of healthcare especially promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases. Dentistry offers the opportunity for a good work-life balance.
How long have you been practising dentistry?
I have been practising Dentistry since 2008 in Auckland with family dental clinics and accident & emergency clinics. Prior to that I had my own clinic in Mumbai, India, and worked in Hospitals and Dental college.
What do you love most about your job?
I take pride in making a positive difference in patient's lives by helping them to improve their oral health. I enjoy the challenge of staying up to date with the latest advancements and techniques.
What are your special interests in dentistry?
I have a special interest in root canal treatments, crowns and bridges, and cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
What is the main piece of advice you give your patients?
The advice I give to my patients is to take care of their oral health through good hygiene habits, advise them for regular check-ups and cleaning, and make healthy lifestyle choices.
Where would we find you outside of the practice?
Outside dentistry, I enjoy reading books, yoga and cooking variety of dishes and enjoying them with family and friends.
