The Lumino Mobile Buses are heading to Dargaville for one week to service the community that has been without a permanent dentist for over a year.
From Monday 3 July until midday Saturday 8 July 2023, our Lumino Mobile Buses will be parked in the car park between Countdown and The Warehouse treating patients from all over Dargaville.
It's been 18 months since our Lumino Dargaville practice permanently closed its doors, a decision that wasn't made lightly after attempting to recruit a dentist for our Dargaville practice both nationally & overseas with no success.
Returning to the Dargaville community means we are able to help people who haven't had access to a local dentist and are in need of dental care. Over the week we will have five dentists and three oral health therapists working on the bus, splitting their time up across the days.
We will be offering free WINZ quotes for anyone with a valid community services card. Plus, we're ACC-accredited and can accept ACC claims for dental treatment, caused by an accident.
Our team will also be offering the following treatments:
- Dental exams & x-rays for only $69!
- Hygiene
- Restorative treatment including crowns, fillings & partial dentures
- Emergency dental care including:
- Toothache
- Broken teeth
- Broken fillings
