Dr Richard Young
Richard is an experienced dentist, having graduated from Otago University in 1994.
He has been with Garden place dental since 1995 and a partner since 1997. As a dentist, Richard enjoys being able to transform patients smiles. He has a particular interest in designing and making porcelain crowns and cosmetic dentistry.
To further his dental studies, Richard is regularly attending continuing education courses in New Zealand and overseas.
Outside of practice hours Richard enjoys cycling, skiing, travel and spending time with his family.
Dr Russell Cadwallader
Russell graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in the United Kingdom. After this, he moved to Plymouth to complete his foundation year in dentistry for the NHS. This was close to his childhood home of Truro, Cornwall. During this time, he spent his out of office hours at the beach and returning home to see family and friends.

In the time that Russell was at Cedar Dental Care, he explored further education in Restorative, Endodontics, and Prosthodontics and has found these areas of dentistry enjoyable.
As an 8 year-old boy, Russell fell in love with the Lord of the Rings when it released in cinema. This sparked a love for New Zealand and to visit the country. Finally, in 2023 the dream move to New Zealand was started with his girlfriend Alice and their aim is to live a full rounded life. If it can be hiked, climbed, swam in or surfed, Russell and Alice are keen to experience.

Chanelle graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Otago in 2019. Her dental interests include general dentistry, particular interest in fixed pros - crowns and bridges, as well as oral surgery.
In conjunction with the goal of always providing quality work, Chanelle aims to educate her patients so they have the tools to achieve superb oral hygiene in order to maintain healthy and long lasting dentition. She enjoys meeting and treating patients from all walks of life and working as a team.

Chloe Blannin
Chloe graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2019.
Her main goal is to help patients improve their oral health and making sure her patients leave happy.
She enjoys helping people and improving their confidence.
Outside of the practice Chloe enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
She enjoys going away on weekends. Her favourite place it be is Ruapehu, Queenstown, Raglan or Taupo.
Jacqui Smith
Jacqui graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from AUT in 2018 and has since gone on to achieve her post-graduate diploma in health sciences majoring in child health. She has a keen interest in helping clients to understand their oral health condition and working together to improve this.
Outside of work, Jacqui enjoys good food with good company and her favourite place to be is the beach. She also loves cats and has two of her own.
Pavi Sharma
Pavi qualified with Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Management from Auckland University of Technology. She has combined more than five years of experience working as a practice manager in New Zealand and India.
Pavi is an enthusiastic person with extraordinary communication skills, which makes her a perfect manager of the White Smile Dental Team. She enjoys working with patients to help them complete the dental treatment they need by arranging appointments with their clinicians. She is familiar with almost all dental treatments and procedures and is always happy to answer any relevant questions from patients when needed.
At home, she spends her time with her lovely child and husband. She loves reading books and a big foodie too.
