What made you decide to get into dentistry as a career?
When I was in High school, I used to attend after school tuition classes and one of the tutors was a dental student at that time. He used to work on his dental assignments when he could find the time in the middle of our classes. Watching him carve teeth from a wax block and learning about the creative side of this field caught my attention and my passion for dentistry began.
How long have you been practising dentistry?
Since 2014.
What is your most memorable case to date?
I had this lovely patient who was terrified of dentists. This led to her avoiding her dental needs. Unfortunately, when she finally had the courage to visit us it was too late, and she had limited options.
After through discussions we decided for full mouth extraction and rehabilitation with complete dentures.
We worked as a team and made sure she was comfortable through the appointments.
By the end of her treatment plan, she was so thrilled and started referring us to her friends and family. Because she wanted them not to delay and to avoid learning the hard way.
