Miramar Nick T
Lead Dentist

Nick Tramoundanas

Nick graduated from the University of Otago with a BSc (Biochemistry) in 1975 and a BDS in 1979 and in 2004, FACDNA (Fellow of the Academy of Computerised Dentistry of North America). He established the Miramar Dental Health Centre in 1979 and joined the Lumino group in 2006.

Within his role, Nick enjoys the ability to lead a team to help their patients enjoy the benefits of good oral standards and a healthy mouth and appearance. His clinical interests include Oral Rehabilitation using the latest computerised methods, which includes placement of implants using guided surgery and manufacturing of complete crowns and veneers using simulated jaw techniques to ensure the fit of all 1 to 24 teeth as necessary. Also the saving of teeth using root treatment techniques that ensure longevity of the broken down teeth and treating Bruxing (teeth grinding and clenching) issues and alleviating them.

Miramar Sunjna
Dentist

Dr Sunjna Harduth

Sunjna graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from WITS University (South Africa) in 1999. After graduation, she headed over to the UK where she worked in public and private dentistry and did a bit of travelling. Sunjna also spent some time in the USA where she was part of the dental team at the Tippecanoe Community Health Centre in Indiana. Sunjna returned to South Africa in 2004 where she ran her private dental practice in Sandton, Johannesburg before relocating to Aotearoa in 2008 with her family. She now proudly calls Wellington home where she's been part of Miramar Lumino…

Sunjna loves fostering strong relationships with her patients and thoroughly enjoys helping them achieve the smile they deserve utilising cerec CAD/CAM, endodontic, implant, and restorative technology. Her passion for improving the oral health of all Kiwis has led her to pursue and complete a Master's in Health at Victoria University where she focused on the issues of promoting dental equity. Sunjna continues her learning and keeps up to date with developments by regularly attending local and international dental courses and conferences.

Sunjna loves traveling with her family, hits the gym, and participates in the Spirited Women Adventure Races around Aotearoa. Her hobbies of painting and pottery have been on the back burner of late as she pursues advocating for an improvement in oral health outcomes for all.

BDS (Otago), Dip. Gestalt Psychotherapy, MSc AGDP (Birmingham), MPDC (RCS Ed), General Dentist

Charlotte completed her first dental degree at the University of Otago. She has just graduated with Distinction with a Masters in Advanced General Dental Practice from the University of Birmingham where she won the Coltene-Whaledent prize for top masters student. She is currently writing articles for publication about local anaesthetic techniques. As a result of this study she is able to offer treatment based on the latest techniques and technology.

Charlotte completed her first dental degree at the University of Otago. She is currently writing articles for publication about local anaesthetic techniques. As a result of this study she is able to offer treatment based on the latest techniques and technology.

Her practice of dentistry started as a hospital dentist gaining experience in a variety of minor surgery including wisdom tooth removal. She has practiced in the UK and has been practicing as a general dentist in Wellington since 1986. Charlotte has many years experience with cosmetic and aesthetic solutions to dental issues. In addition to her technical training, Charlotte has a diploma of Gestalt Counselling and has experience in helping highly anxious patients through necessary dental treatment.

Caroline Cullen

Caroline Cullen

Caroline is originally from the UK. She has been living in New Zealand for over 11 years and studied her Bachelor of Oral Heath at Otago University.  Caroline has been working as a Dental Hygienist in private practice for over 5 years.

Caroline feels that maintaining good oral health is important for your overall health. She feels that it is important to educate and work with patients to obtain optimal health. In her spare time Caroline likes to keep fit and attends the gym regularly. Caroline also enjoys socialising with friends and travelling. 

Monika
Dentist

Dr Monika Vats

Before moving to Wellington, Monika provided dental care to her patients in India and Australia since graduating in 2010.

She enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in minimally invasive dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Over the years, Monika has attended many professional development courses, which keep her updated and able to provide the highest standard of dental care.

Monika likes to build a connection with her patients, making them feel comfortable with warmth and unmatched listening skills. Beyond improving oral health, she loves that what she does can boost people’s confidence, too.

Outside of work, Monika enjoys travelling, jazz, curling up with a good book, and spending time with her family, especially her dog Bailey.
