Welcome to Oral Surgery. Oral Surgery Associates is an exciting joint venture between Dr Neil Luyk and Dr Ian Cathro, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, surgeons of the mouth, face and jaws.

We are located on the first floor of Ascot Central on Ellerslie Racecourse Drive, in Remuera. We also have parking available onsite for your convenience. 

We offer a range of services including, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, anaesthesia, apicetomy and laser surgery. We also treat TMJ disorders and salivary gland problems. 

Dr Neil has had extensive training in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. After completing his dental degree at Otago University in 1979, he then went on to spend the next six years completing specialist training overseas.

Ian completed his first degree in dentistry at the University of Otago in 1993. He then spent several years working in Auckland Hospitals before completing his medical degree and masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002.
