Looking to improve your smile, confidence or tooth appearance? Veneers are an excellent solution for you.

Veneers are used to treat a range of teeth issues from chipped and worn teeth to stained or discoloured teeth. They improve the appearance, colour and shape of your teeth to help you achieve that perfect smile and more confidence.

Are veneers right for you?

Veneers can give you the look you want regardless of how your teeth look now. They’re durable, long-lasting, comfortable, and look just like your own natural teeth.

Here are some of the many advantages our patients have found with veneers:

  • Improve your appearance - veneers are usually one of the more popular cosmetic treatment options due to their appearance and superiority over other restoration options
  • Enhanced your bite function - they're custom-made to fit your tooth shape and structure and make it easy for you to bite and chew
  • Improve your confidence - they completely restore your smile, helping boost your self-esteem
  • Convenient - veneers are a more permanent and straightforward dental treatment

What are veneers?

Veneers are used to restore chipped, uneven or discoloured teeth. They can be used instead of a crown if your tooth is strong and healthy and are either made from porcelain or composite material.

During veneers treatment thin, tooth-coloured shells also known as laminates are shaped to bond to the front of your teeth. For porcelain veneers, your teeth may be prepared by removing a small amount of the front surface of the tooth then a thin bit of porcelain is cemented to your front teeth. Composite veneers are created by applying layers of bonded ceramic composite to the surface of the tooth.

Veneers offer many benefits including enhancing the look of your teeth and providing a natural tooth appearance. Porcelain veneers are stain-resistant and composite veneers are easy to apply, repair and remove. Veneers may require minimal reshaping of the natural tooth.

Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are an ideal solution for chipped, uneven, or discoloured teeth. Your teeth are prepared by removing a small amount of the front surface of the tooth to allow space for the porcelain. A thin bit of porcelain is then cemented to your front teeth.

Composite veneers

Composite veneers are a conservative alternative to porcelain veneers that require minimal or no reshaping of the natural tooth. They are created by applying layers of bonded ceramic composite to the surface of the tooth. Composite veneers are easier to apply, repair and remove but are not as strong as porcelain veneers and may not last as long.
