Mobile 1 Dental receive letter from health prize winner

Mobile 1 Dental was delighted to receive a thank you letter from the latest award recipient of their student health prize.

Isabelle was the latest recipient of the Selwyn College Junior Health Prize of $200. Mobile 1 provides the schools they work with a donation for the school as well as a health prize for a student.

Mobile 1 Dental Therapist, Jo Lowry said they don't normally receive any feedback from the recipients.

"The schools thank us and invoice us but this is the first time a student has taken the time to write."

Mobile 1 has been offering this prize since 2018. They see students from Year 9 until their 18th birthday.

"We felt we needed to have our brand out within the school communities in a positive and celebratory capacity outside of our clinical visits."

The health prize is awarded to a junior student who demonstrates leadership in the health of the school community.

"We wanted to target the prize to a Junior student so for the 5 years in high school we are visible at each prize giving."

Mobile 1 offers this health prize to Lynfield College, Auckland Girls Grammar, Selwyn College, Epsom Girls Grammar, Mt Albert Grammar, Marist Girls College, One Tree Hill College, St Peter’s College, and Tamaki College.
