Mr Leon Steenberg
Leon is our resident oral surgeon with an extensive background in oral and maxillofacial treatments. He has completed qualifications in dentistry, medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has always had a particular interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Leon regularly attends courses, ensuring his education is kept up to date to meet his personal goal that he treats patients to the best of his ability with the highest level of satisfaction.
He enjoys travelling, cycling and golf, and loves travelling to Queenstown.
Cate Haughton
Cate is our practice's registered nurse and finds great satisfaction when tasks and jobs are completed with efficiency. She loves working with her team and meeting the many different people that come through Christchurch Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centre.
Outside of the practice, Cate enjoys spending time with her family and loves travelling to Wanaka.
Leigh Joubert
Leigh joins the team as the Oral Surgery Assistant. She hopes to become more knowledgeable about processes and procedures at Christchurch Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centre.
Leigh is motivated by the team culture evident in the practice as it's a great motivator for her.
Sharyn Ruane
Sharyn is the receptionist at Christchurch Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centre. She loves to learn and working on new skills that can help her towards making her role more efficient, especially for patients. She also loves meeting and helping new and existing patients at the practice.
Sharyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, but especially her grandchildren, and works hard to ensure she has a well-balanced lifestyle.
