Dr Jennifer Li completed her Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Master of Orthodontic training from the School of Stomatology, Xi’an JiaoTong University and her Ph.D training from Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. She then completed a four-month postdoc research training with the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Michigan focusing on the molecular mechanism of the cleft palate during embryonic craniofacial development.

Dr Jennifer Li completed her Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Master of Orthodontic training from the School of Stomatology, Xi’an JiaoTong University and her Ph.D training from Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. She then completed a four-month postdoc research training with the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Michigan focusing on the molecular mechanism of the cleft palate during embryonic craniofacial development.
Dr Li worked with Orthodontic Discipline of Sydney University as a lecturer for more than 4 years, collaborated with the Sleep Research Centre of St. George Hospital on the treatment of sleep apnoea patients when working with the University, and carried out full-time research study on the data of sleep apnoea patients before and after the treatment with the team prior to her joining the University of Hong Kong Orthodontics as a Clinical Assistant Professor for two years.
Dr Li was elected as the Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2016, 8 years after she passed the Edinburgh exam in Orthodontics and became a member of Edinburgh college in 2008. She is also an active member of most orthodontic organisations.
Dr Li enjoys sports, playing musical instruments, photography, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Is a specialist Orthodontist in Brazil with her own dedicated practice and an academic life dedicated to dentistry.
Outside the practice, Kassia likes to learn languages, music and sewing.
Suzanne Time is an Orthodontic Auxiliary and has been with Max + Beresford for 23 years.
Suzanne completed her Dental Assistant Course in 2003 and qualified as an Orthodontic Auxiliary 2006. She completed all her training at Max + Beresford.
Her goal is to give all patients the smile they have always wanted and to make their experience at Max + Beresford the best possible.
Suzanne loves seeing the end results, especially in patients that come into the practice for the first time and they don’t want to smile and by the time their treatment is completed, they can’t stop…

Natasha is an Orthodontic Auxiliary. Her interests include boxing, travelling, pilates and photography.
Kassia is a dental assistant. She likes learning languages, music and is learning to sew.
Carol was born and raised in China and moved to New Zealand with her husband and daughter in 2017.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in General Dentistry (2011) and a Masters' Degree in Orthodontics (2014) from Nanjing Medical University in China. She was a General Dentist at Nanjing Public Hospital.
Before joining Lumino, Carol previously worked as a dental assistant in private practice in East Auckland. She is looking forward to becoming a qualified orthodontic auxiliary.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking and traveling.
Kimberley is the Front Desk Administrator at Max + Beresford.
Her favourite thing about her job is the staff and the patients. She finds everyone that comes to the practice really nice and friendly.
Kimberley's goal is to become a practice manager one day.
Outside of the practice Kimberley's favourite thing to do is spend time with her friends, family and pets. Her favourite place to be is at the sea, either on the beach or in a boat.
She also has a passion for Harry Potter and has a giant collection!
